I have bean waiting to wade in to this thread because I have bean looking for an older post but so far I have bean unable to find it , but the gist was that the 4.4 TDV8's management system was so much more complicated than previous engines that it was incapable of running correctly with out these devices in place and signals coming back from them . 2008 MY Supercharged
