Rear fuse board

Is the rear fuse board always live? Im after an ignition live only, had a quick look with the multi meter on all empty fuses but are live with the ignition off.
My fear is all fuses are live....I might have to get a feed from the front, easy enough to do but the rear would be so simpler to wire up. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Hmmm ok Stan Thumbs Up , I will pull them out one by one over time to see which is ignition live, but 15 min seem a bit too long for what I need it too do. All be reviled as soon as whats it for. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

There is an ignition live in the rear fuseboard area, not on the board itself. It's a 0.5mm2 green / yellow wire which serves the rear tow socket, it's the only ignition controlled feed in the rear compartment. It's fed from fuse 2, 5A on the passenger compartment fuse board at the front.
I suggest you use it to switch a relay to feed whatever you are using and don't use use it directly to feed whatever. Thumbs Up
The rear fuseboard is live all the time.
If you can't find it I can photograph for you in the morning.

There is an "ignition live" on the other (left) side at the rear as well (in with all the AV gubbins)

There is a big black connector that can be found dangling in front of the radio module. On the male side of the connection you will find a PURPLE wire. This is the ignition live wire so you can tap into this. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Hi Guys,

I am trying to fit a rear dashcam and have look for either the Purple (N/S) or the G/Y (O/S) but struggling to locate either.

The circuit digram shows the G/Y (O/S) going to pin 10 and CC connector but it shows nothing on multi-meter. Any advice or help appreciated.

Thanks
