Hello Ladies and Gents

Kingpleb and I are planning to meet up for a day of gentle (or less gentle) off roading next month and wondered if any other members would like to join us?

The site is purpose built with tracks thro wooded areas, ponds that range from 6" to 5 ft deep, inclines and axle twisters. The tracks are graded from blue ( normal road 4x4's with standard road tyres, thru Red ( raised off roaders with crossover tyres ) and black ( for purpose built machines with high lift, winches and mud tyres).

It is fair to say that I did all the Red runs last year with just off road height and standard scorpions fitted, and the same plus a couple of black runs with the goodyear MTRs last week, so there's potentially something there for everybody.

Does anyone have a spare passenger seat ? - I would contribute to entry fee / fuel / cups of tea / beer etc.

I am not bothered about driving the course myself as I have only limited ability (desert driving / wadi bashing some years ago - not mud!)

I would really like to go to one of these events - have not been before - don't know what to expect.

According to details on that page there is no parking for spectator vehicles. Spectators have to arrive in the other drivers car.....

@MJD - I phoned up Rebecca at the centre - she has added my name to the gate to allow access.

She said she does not mind a few extra - but some people take the P - ie turn up with 15 mates to one driver so their car park is overloaded.

So phone centre and let them know you are coming - should not be a problem.
