Good evening gents.

I seem to be suffering with an intermittent loss of power / hesitation / additional exhaust smoke on moderate acceleration .

I took it out for a good 25 minute run at 3000rpm just in case it's a build up of crud ( as I only do short journeys these days)

The only code thrown up by the IID tool is a P023D-22(2C) which I've googled and nothing comes up ( anybody know what this is?)

I will be taking a look at the turbo hoses tomorrow, but any other thoughts or ideas on this if that turns up a blank.

Manifold absolute pressure – turbocharger/supercharger boost sensor A correlation

Its a zero ( 0 ) , not an O

Check for split hoses, and turbo actuators for movement/seized rod

Cheers Mikey....could it also potentially be related to the EGR's as I know they can be an issue?

I seem to remember mine had a similar error code and it was a split hose. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

If it was an EGR issue, it would have logged an EGR code too

Sounds positive...fingers crossed for a split hose then...will post the outcome

Check both top inter cooler hoses, common problem. Happened to mine, have a look in the wiki I did a write up on how to swap one (logical and easy really). There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Found it....a 2" split in the right hand Turbo hose!

Followed NMJ's instructions..Removed the offending pipe, cleaned the surfaces, applied the reinforcing tape followed by the Self-Amalgamating tape and refitted...15 mins start to finish. Quite pleased with myself

New hose will be put on order with Ducky Dan tomorrow

Result!  Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Are you going to change them both, can't see the other one being far behind.... or aren't they like radiator hoses and go in pairs??? Pete
