Mine got soaked when swimming in Wales.... put them in a baking tin and gave them 30mins at 120degC lovely and dry... be careful when you take them out they tend to fly about a lot... there is a bit of fabric top and bottom to hold them in, it's against a perforated disc, mine had dirty marks where the holes were, just turned the fabric till a clean bit was in sight... Yes I'm amased the pump worked again, it was totally under water and kicked in when I restarted the car so pumped water for a bit... was rather wet inside... sticking them in the oven certainly worked, I stripped it again 2 weeks later to check and it was all nice and bone dry... The pump dries the silica itself, in case you didn't know, the filtered dry air that it fills the system with gets sent back through the silica as it exhausts to dry it out so unless you know it has got water from somewhere there should be no reason to change it....
