The situation I have is just a slight deposit, discolouration, fogging, misting - whatever, on the inside of the lenses. I'm pretty sure that a rinse out would clean and therefore fix it, question is - is it practical? and if so how? Geoff |

Well I won't be doing that then, what about taking out all the bulbs and giving the insides a quick rinse? Geoff |

problem with that would be any moisture left in the unit and although you can take the bulbs out the bulb holders will still be in there..

Some years ago I gave my TD5 headlamps an overhaul and cleaned them. 3 days in a warm airing cupboard worked a treat to rid the moisture |

As VD said above, do NOT attempt to open them as they are not sealed in the traditional way & needs to be done by a BRAVE professional |

My track record would indicate that I am not a skilled professional but an enthusiastic amateur |
