Right, I have just noticed a knock from the steering only seems to happen when I put it on right hand lock and Rock it near full lock (not hitting stop) has has in the last 12 months.

Inner and outer track rod ends
Upper suspension arms and joints
Lower suspension arms and joints

This is however a new knock.

Any other ideas what it could be? Apart from the rack? Possibly a uj on the steering column. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Had a scrabble under it with fat mate wiggling the steering wheel, it's definitely coming from the d/s rack inner track rod/axial tie rod, can feel it when you hold the track rod!

Only 12 months since they were fitted! LR parts too!

Off to the local garage tomorrow for a new one. Can't get any from ecp which is a shame as they are on offer at the moment! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

After stripping the boots off the rack its isnt coming from the track rods.......

Mechanic re one it's only a very slight knock and you can't feel it when driving, so leave it alone and see if it passes the mot. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
