Can't remember the number of times I've went to view a Jaguar MkIX, these are utterly stunning but there are so many poorly repaired ones out there finding a minter is a tough call

Not forgetting it has one of the best engines ever produced

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

Was very tempted by a 5.7 'Ram earlier this year at a reputed specialist near me.

But it had less power than my SC and I'd probably have had issues getting it into the carpark at work as my SC fills the space completely and it's underground.

Now a classic F250 is another matter, but the double-cabs are rare beasts. Lovely old things, though.

The VDP is rather wonderful and a more exclusive alternative to a Shadow. They have a presence about them that other models rarely match. Thumbs Up Si. <This is my name.

Gaz, they quote 25mpg?!!

US Gallons + you may get 18-20mpg at 60 constant but you will be lucky to get 10mpg urban. Average about 12mpg in my experience.

If we're going for rediculous front wheel drive cars, how about a Cadillac Eldorado with an 8.2 litre engine (with less then 200bhp!)?

I'd quite like a go in one, but I don't think I'd like to own one.

Good luck finding a '68 charger intact! That there program is responsible for a massive shortage of '68, I don't know the exact figures are, but we're talking thousands Shocked Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Sorry chaps got the numbers a wee bit wrong, the General Lee was in fact a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440, and they naffed up 309 in total, in fact they broke so many '69's that they had to convert '68's to look like the 1969 model. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I knew there would be a downside to winning the lottery Laughing

Not that I'm an anorak in any way...... The General Lee is a 69 Charger. The 68 is like the one in Bullit with the 4 round tail lights. The 69 has the horizontal ones. Prob loads of other changes, but I've no idea about them......

I also have a thing for a mk2 Escort rally replica in the Rothmans colours...... And an Integrale.

And the massive Rolls Royce Phantom that bmw made.....

And a Triumph Stag or a GT6...,,,

I've always liked the GT6's and the one's with the 2.5 pi engine conversion go rather well! TR4A, TR5 and TR6 are also very fine examples of late 60's / 70's sports cars Thumbs Up

And that Horrible screen shot above from a Ford Shocked , but I suspect that it's from a V10 triton powered beast, they're 6.8 litres ish Shocked The V10 Dodges aren't much better! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
