The pop-up cup holder in the centre to the right of the front passenger seat pops up but it won't go back in. Nothing is blocked inside and I can't work out for the life of me where the catch mechanism is supposed to be so have ordered another one;

Does anyone know how to remove the existing broken one and fit the new one?

Planning on doing this job next week, I can't believe what is involved to change one of these. The Main Dealers must love these sort of jobs.

The video link above has a different centre cup holder to me. I have a round cup holder with flip up lid in the centre, not the push up one as indicated in the video. Mine is a 2003, I am guessing the one in the video is slightly later?
