Say no more Whistle

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love the FF, and sold the Audi because it lacked any character whatsoever, but the build quality / reliability issues do wind me up if I think about it Rolling Eyes

So, if were driving to the Alps (we fly), I'd most likely take SWMBO's Passat Estate - it wouldn't put a smile on my face, but I'd get there without any drama (guaranteed) and it would cost peanuts in fuel, plus the technology in it is every bit a match (better in some areas) than the FF.

No, it has to be to the right deity. If you pray to the wrong one, no only will you break down, you will also burn in hell.

Only if you break down on the road to Damascus Craig, and not many on here are choosing that destination these days! Laughing

You're right, you most definitely need a St. Christopher (hope I spelled it correct in English) dangling from your mirror and you need a friend or family member to buy you an "angel" (tradition in the motorbike world) that needs to be fitted by that friend in a place to ward of the road devils. It usually is a little bell Smile. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Had a look at the hose under the expansion that Alisair mentioned. It is indeed rubbing, but in my case on some part f the wiring harness, it's on its way but should be good for a fair few more miles. When I get a chance I'm going to wrap some amalgamating tape round it to prevent it going any further.

It is one for tdv8 owners to look at Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
