They're all epic fail. Doesn't matter how the Beeb wrap this up they know they have dropped a clanger and the TG Boys will be as successful elsewhere...

I like all the 'new' team individually with what they have done....but they are not a TG team... Rolling Eyes Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

The ONLY good thing is we may end up with two Top Gear like programs a BBC one with Guy Martin, Philip Glennister & Jodie Kidd plus the all new Netflix CM@H Show......

Strange combination to say the least, I can just imagine Guy Martin turning up and telling Jody Kidd to "fook off into the kitchen darling and make me a brew" Rolling with laughter Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I do get it;
Jodie Kidd - racing driver/glamourous one
Guy Martin - techie
Phil Glensiter - edgy / arrogant one....."fire up the quattro" and he does that car show where they restore stuff

Still will never be the same Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

It's just going to change into an all out road test the VW Polo and other boring cars, give them marks out of 10, onto the next one. No banter between them, and the specials will also be pretty boring if they even do them still.

Sound like Fifth Gear anyone?

I guess we are not getting Old Top Gear back so perhaps a Fifth Gear style show with decent presenters PLUS a new Top Gear like show with the hilarious Clarkson, Hammond & May could work out OK if not what we all really really want....

Just resolve it like men, man 1 punches man 2, man 2 wipes his mouth and punches man 1. Both men agree to disagree and go to the pub to have a pint.

And the world carries on as it should!

Lets give them a chance ...might be better than we think I along with lots of others was getting bored stiff with the inane drivel from Clarkson and co and think that there wasn't much mileage left in that format, time to move on Neutral The forums premier drug dealer and human trafficking consultant

agree with Wacky completely. it was all getting a bit stale. classic case of egos bigger than content.

I think Glenister will be good for the role. Jodie is not particularly full of charisma in a presenting role (see classic car show). Gut Martin seems a bit of a strange choice for me.

Give it a go and don't write it off just because its not the TG we are used to. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

I too felt that the format had gone very stale. I'm a confirmed petrolhead but I've not been bothered to watch more than one or two episodes of the last couple of series. There was less and less about the cars and more and more about the choreographed banter. Time to re-balance the output.

Tough call for the BBC, tough act to follow but there is an audience that wasn't enamoured by boys behaving badly that may re-engage for a new trio of presenters. There might be a chance of some more informative coverage.

I'll give it a chance.
