2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Monte Carlo Blue

light behind heater control knob

Guys I have a bulb now not working behind the drivers side heater knob, would I be right in saying its a w3w type bulb like the ones behind the dash ( speedo etc) ? If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

They are circuit board mounted led's not designed to be changed V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Ah ok thanks Dave, looks like a new panel then

Just looked on bay of e to see how much.....

My next question are the leds / circuit board repairable?....guessing not by the over inflated price of such part. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

They are surfaced mounted and if you can use a soldering iron you stand half a chance, the hardest part would be finding the led's V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

I've got a similar problem and I can solder but I wouldn't even bother with this, I'd buy a replacement Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

, I can solder too, but that's a bit too much of a risk for me. Annoyingly this light worked this morning, but on Thursday night it was out....I hate with a passion intermittent faults

Dave thank you for posting the picture above, much appreciated sir, does show what's behind that panel If it dont work.......burn it!

I got some surface mount LED's here from a 2010 board ( got the whole unit ! ) let me know if you want them and I will see if I can take a few off
