Air Suspension Inactive - need to get home

After 5 years or pretty much stress free driving, today I pulled into work at 6am and the 'air susp inactive' error came up. The light on the button that prevents it being used was continually on, and it wouldn't lower to access height (how i usually leave it when I park up - heard it helps it 'go to sleep completely')

Can I drive the 6 miles home after work with it still on? Didnt notice anything different today driving in through the sprinkling of snow, it felt fine. And not sure how long the light on the height control button/roller switch had been on?

What should I check first?

If the car is at normal operating height and it seems to behave fine I would drive it home and look at fixing it there. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Switch the engine on, turn full lock to left and right, turn engine off, turn engine on and you might be lucky.
Could just have been a low voltage blip.
If not, as above, drive the car home as it is. Thumbs Up

Cheers guys will try the left/right reset first, and hopefully get the old girl home.

I'll charge the battery this afternoon as she sits for 7-20 days at a time without use. What would be next to check once the battery's full charged?

I had this yesterday....

Shocked

Was ok, got jet washed, went on 'one' !

Had mine plugged into the computer last night, checked the whole system, reset the codes. Now all good....

The mystery world of LR ownership ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
