Not getting any faults if you drive it? (slowly and carefully!)

Only faults relate the "trans failsafe " - PNP error...drives fine, thought here is a "clunk" on full lock and the suspension seems rather unforgiving when coming down off a speed bump!

Only if you don't have your own diagnostic tool - e.g. IIDTool/AllComms/Faultmate/Hawkeye etc .

Actually, Joe, Hawkeye can't do an EAS calibration. We (at GAP) have spoken about this in the past: people continually compare the IIDTool to the Hawkeye because they are in the same price category (actually, the IIDTool is less expensive!). But they are not nearly in the same category functionality-wise. Maybe we should make the IIDTool more expensive... |

Thanks Steve - i *do* have a code reader, but so far it's only giving me PNP error. As today is dry (and I have to work outside on my car!) i'm spending time on this as the whle right side is now lower than the left... leans like a badly loaded cargo ship! Just printed the Suspension details off so I can read them - hate reading lots of text on screen... I think the symptoms do favour a leak, and that the read offside went duff when they had t jack it up - putting the car's weight on that air spring.

![]() What's up with your LF air spring? I remember that we had a conversation about this a while back, I just don't remember the prob. Tym, as far as leak spray goes - only use Palmolive + water in a spray bottle. It softens your hands while you fix the car. LOL There are only a few code reader only devices (2 actually AFAIK) that will read the EAS ECU and other proprietary LR systms. Both are nearly as expensive as the non-bt IIDTool and do much less. (Just so you don't spend hours searching...) ![]() RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |

You can jumper the valves as well - tho I'd have to look at the wiring in RAVE to figure out which and I've no time tonite...

I have NavCoder, which will read codes and clear the errors in each module (as it did with my airbag light) but I don't think it would activate anything... Tym
