IID BT options

So my IID BT tool arrived this morning (but not home yet to try it out)

Just wondering if there is anything weird and wonderful I can do re the LCD dash screen. When not in low range and off road special programs, the centre section seems pretty empty.

Other than the cruise control notifications popping up from time to time I'd like to know if I can add any other info in there.? (like speed/revs/ or anything else)..??

I know I sound bored now but just wondering Ash

when the Craig-meister came round to show off his new FF, he showed me the kph/mph switch over which was done via the iidtool.....hopefully he will expand on the 'goodies' that can be done when he sees this thread. ... - .- -.

You can enable DRL. Alter the sensitivity of the auto wipers too and follow me home lights on the rear as well as the front. But to be honest there is a lot of options in the list but some may work some may not, because of the software version on each module that you are trying to change. Thumbs Up I'll have a look tomorrow and write down a list, if someone doesn't list them first.

Hmmmm! This could help as been thinking if buying one myself and looked at an online manual but it doesn't seem to list many of the options I've heard that it can do

So come on gents list away it's capabilities ( would be nice to hear your favourite ones also )......

Have a look here

http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool.html

Scroll down to where it says functionality list and fill in the correct car details. It will show a drop down menu and within that menu there are drop down menus to show various functions that can be changed or read. I think that's easier than writing down a list. Thumbs Up

Stan, i have a Beta testing IID Pro tool which i believe cannot be purchased yet and has more/other options to the normal BT unit... Therefore wouldn't like to list what mine can do incase it/they are not available on the ordinary BT unit Whistle Thumbs Up

Craig, the pro version is available now from Dan at Duckworth parts for £1850 Inc vat. Your version may have testing of modules and things before being transferred as an update to the consumer version. Thumbs Up

Sound good - Can it make my 3.6 into a 4.4 with some "Special" setting..?

And perhaps turn on the "auto clean" function timed for Saturday mornings.. Ash
