Hidden menus

Just been having a think, the 753 menu whilst useful for watching tv on the move Whistle and giving some vehicle parameters etc, it seems a fairly elaborate way of getting into the menus.

Does that keypad allow access to anything else perhaps a 322 menu..... Has anyone found anything? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

There is another code I use instead:

134679

Gets you into more menus, I believe, and also allows temporary enabling of TMC unit if it's been disabled in the CCF. You can also get temporary TV on the move through this menu (though I personally don't use this function, as it's naughty and dangerous!!), check the vehicle configs and even get the battery voltage readings through this menu setup.

Maybe worth a try?

This should help....

Basically, on the home screen ( the one that shows all the features) touch and hold the top middle of the touch screen for 5 seconds, then the hard plastic navigation key (top right button on my 08MY) then the screen will show a keypad..enter 753 and the diagnostic screens will appear.

I use it to put rear camera on so I can check my trailer when driving.

I have been using this menu to monitor battery voltage and wondered what else was available. I had a play with the rear view camera and there is an option to change it to wide and wide 2. I quite like wide 2 setting as it seems to give a better view but it resets to normal when you exit the menu. Is this an option that can be changed elsewhere.

I did give myself and my son a fright when playing about - it was dark outside I thought I was on the rear view camera menu but had accidentally switched to TV and we both jumped when a face appeared on the scree thinking someone was standing right behind the car awtching Shocked

I’m dragging up an old thread here. I was wondering as this is the one thing I haven’t managed to find. Can anyone link me to a video or document that shows what each thing does in the menu.

I can find loads of people believing they’ve found the Range Rover equivalent of buried treasure but never seems to go beyond tapping in 753 and then showing menus.

I’d love to know what does what without screwing up a car I’ve not long had.

Thank you Very Happy

There’s not a lot of strings you can change in there, but there are some useful features such as a battery voltages, most system testing, and playing around with the TV a bit. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
