United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

As seems to be the case that the RR uses lots of battery when not in use, what exactly is using this power and realistically with a good battery what should it last for unused. What amps should it draw when off as I have a clamp meter just to check?

I've got the Ctek7, never had a battery problem since, just use it with a ctek extension so it reached the outside power socket on my drive and then run it through the bottom of the tailgate rubbers and into the 12v in the boot , prob hook it up twice a month if not using the FF for a week or so Thumbs Up

Oh and it comes in a storage bag that I drape over the front seat/ steering wheel to remind me to unplug before driving off Whistle

When using the supply feature on the ctek 7, I'm assuming you can leave the battery connected without issues. 2010 - Range Rover VSE 3.6 TDV8

I have a DIY solution in place right now !!

Bought a 13 pin caravan towing plug, fitted with a 10A fuse and red + black wires cabled up and then plugged into my existing Ring Digital 16A (running at 8A)...no messing under bonnet. Will do this once a month and see how it goes.

£14 and all sorted Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

My Celica alarm used to drain the battery after 3 weeks of no use so I use a ctek msx5.0 and just leave it all the time on the winter setting. Got a2 meter extension and some extra cable, spliced together to make a7 meter cable and it reaches from my shed across the drive to the car.
Will this be ok for the RR or is there something that might prevent me doing this?
