axle articulation validity fault

hi, been a member for a while not fortunately not needed any help until now! Got the car back from the garage today after an abs sensor fault. the eas was inop when i picked it up, (after hours) i cleared the fault on my all comms but it now sits lop sided and throws up an axle articulation fault that i cant clear. any ideas? im guessing a height sensor is at fault due to it being on a 2 post ramp?

Possibly reversed one of the height sensors. Have a search on here there are a few threads on it, they can get over extended and basically flipped over.

The car then gets an erroneous reading from that corner and throws it's toys out of the pram. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

What he said....^^^ Thumbs Up

They are clever enough to know when you take their wheels off the ground and shouldn't give any problem, had mine up on one loads of times with no problems. Pete

Quick fix if you need to use it.. take the old arm off, use a metal coat hanger and make a rod with loops at the end that is the same length as the original, make the loops slightly larger than the end of the nipples that locate it, put the new rod on and slightly flatten the loops with a pair of pliers to stop it falling off.... job done... Pete

I'll keep that in mind if I get stuck. I always have cable ties and gaffer tape handy just in case!

Guess it depends on which bit of arm has snapped, the metal bit or the plastic bit?

Do what Pete says for a quick fix, or also see here:

Hi,

I had EAS Lights disappeared from dash. After getting it reset it lasted for few days and then disappeared again.
Got them reset again but while doing so I read on my mechanic's machine "Articulation Validity Fault"

ever since I got it reset, I have not driven the car much and not sure if that fault might come back again, if so is it safe to
drive with that flashing message "inactive air suspension" and for how long?

Also noticed that front Driver side Rightside is lower then the Left side not much though.

what could it be the height sensor or air suspension? how to check and make sure?
