Seems like it Pete, though as king of the £5 fix, I ordered some cord for the blind, which arrived today, and after some shouting and snapping noises managed to restring the blind which now works a treat.

Will have to live with the folding table though…..

In other news the Son’s Aygo sprung a leak round the rear light clusters. After a night or 2 of heavy rain the boot was full of water, seals seemed ok round the windows and doors but it was definitely coming in through the back of the lights.. Seems to be a common problem so there was a £10 fix available on eBay. Which seemed a lot for some foam pads. I’m sure I could cobble something together but for the sake of a tenner it’s not worth it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

MOT passed no advisories.

Fixed price service and MOT from inchcape JLR in Derby. Came to £460 incl. for the 84m service and the MOT which I didn’t think was too bad really.

That and insurance this month brings car spend for the month to £1100…..

But at least I got a free wash and vac. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

First thing broke

Fortunately it was only the NS ARB drop link. Repaired under LR warranty which was nice.

Back to no knocking on the front. It’s been on its way out of a while, but I thought it might be something else as I did the links when I got the car, but I suppose that was 3 years ago…… There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
