Splicing into the headlight cable, which ever you chose, only means you are adding a very small inductance circuit ( relay coil ) in parallel with a very high inductance  circuit ( headlight ) which in practical terms means next to nothing. I can't see why it should upset anything, certainly didn't on mine and no-one else who has done it has reported a problem. | ||
