Another pointless BMW that will sell like hotcakes

In today's Autocar mag first views of BMWs next niche car - the X4, basically an X3 with a shrunk X6 body, to slot in below X5 and above X3............ Who needs a high rise 3series that isn't an X3? I know, they will sell by the ro-ro ship load. Not only is Mini running like mad to beat the Evoque but now BM itself is running scared that they will loose sales to the brand they couldn't ditch fast enough! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I'm still not sure who would want an X6... yee gods, now they are doing a smaller one.
