my lpg guy said lpg setups, should not use the four prong type, you could, but got a better burn with a single type i cant remember but i have a plug box somewhere. mine were about £55 the set |

I'm pretty sure I got a single electrode plug, but I will search my box of crap, as I kept a plug box, to reorder. (One day!) I will have a look and get back to you. I think the science is, a slow burn, is a better burn on the LPG. And one electrode helps to slow burn.

Best plugs for LPG are standard NGK single electrode, none of these fancy plugs are any good, they claim they are but it's just to sell you the plug, people will say their mpg increased but that's just down to new plugs anyway... |

Most of the expensive plugs are just designed to last longer, rather than work better. It's why the service interval is so long on the expensive OE style.
Exactly, and it's rare anyone just changes the plugs on their own, it's normally part of a wider engine service - which in turn helps MPG and performance too. Even just cleaning up old plugs with a wire brush gives a slight improvement, to a point. |

Mine just has cheap Britpart ones in it at the moment they seem fine, not sure i'd leave them in there for 80k but they should be good for a couple of years i would think. £2 each vs. £25 each for genuine. And they cant be worse than the cracked and erroded NGK's that came out of it. |

on at least a couple of mine the centre electrode had eroded, the ceramic insulators were cracking too. God knows how long they'd been in there! |
