My local Indy offered an oil change with filer and an oil flush for £150 (TD6) so unless the TDV8 has a sump 3 times the size of the BMW lump, I would say that they is extracting the urine |

I think its funny the way some people perceive that Land Rover do some magic when doing a Service 1/2 etc.

I'd agree with you Gary, same garage but must have been different staff as I've had mixed results from them. FF was fine 110 wasn't, both within 6 months of each other.

surely if they drain from the rear plug ,all oil is removed and no need to remove front 1 ?

wont use them anyway ,as I only use Castrol or mobil oil ,and want a genuine filter |

The rear plug drains a small reservoir - there is a wall between the 2 sections so oil will not be drained fully if either plug is not removed. |
