My local Indy offered an oil change with filer and an oil flush for £150 (TD6) so unless the TDV8 has a sump 3 times the size of the BMW lump, I would say that they is extracting the urine Shocked Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I think its funny the way some people perceive that Land Rover do some magic when doing a Service 1/2 etc.

They like anybody else change the oil/fluids*/filters* and then do a long inspection tick sheet....

Shocked I thought that they change the oil and filter and then rubbed the engine over with an oily rag, I didn't realise that they did a multiple choice as well Laughing Laughing Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

My opinions of Kwik Fit are mixed. Took the 110 there for an MOT. Failed it because a rear seat belt was missing and the rear seats were not secure.

The seats were folded forwards and there was a dog towel over the "missing" seat belt.

Missed the two knackered UJs on the rear prop though...

Lucikly I didn't and there was a more genuine reason to fail it. Ed

I guess it all depends on the staff at the local KF.

I am nor supporting Quick Fit as a brand just that you can get your oil/filter professionally changed with premium synthetic oil for just £59.99 its just such a bargain. Thumbs Up

I'd agree with you Gary, same garage but must have been different staff as I've had mixed results from them. FF was fine 110 wasn't, both within 6 months of each other.

They are cheap though so given I look after the cars myself only really use them as a second set of eyes and to get the piece of paper. Ed

surely if they drain from the rear plug ,all oil is removed and no need to remove front 1 ?
hence why service kits only come with 1 plug 2007 tdv8 se ,stornaway grey

no not a waste,
as if they used decent oil and used my filter ,
it would of saved me the job of climbing underneath, getting dirty and disposal of old oil for nearly the same price of oil and filter Exclamation 2007 tdv8 se ,stornaway grey

The rear plug drains a small reservoir - there is a wall between the 2 sections so oil will not be drained fully if either plug is not removed.
