Sounds like your FBH kicked in there Bud, they stuff them deep in the wheel arch area behind the glovebox, and they draw their breath through the gill on the passenger side...... mine has developed a whistle when its going, did make me jump when it first kicked in |

Don't you have to activate the FBH though, like time it to come on, on a frosty morning. I mean the engine had warmed up. It did frighten the life out of everybody in and around the car though |

They come on by them selves when it's cold to speed up the warm up of the engine / heating system... I didn't think that mine was working, and then it got cold and I couldn't stop it from whistling |

they come in at 6deg or below on startup to raise temp to 40deg and then maintain it at 40deg which is why the make alot of noise initially and then it subdues once 40deg has been reached. Cheers

Yes , works just like on a desiesel I have a T91 remote and it comes on automatically a 6ºC and under to help speed up heating . It's very unusual to have one specced on a Supercharger but there are one or two around and my car was one of JLR own and has absolutely every option fitted |
