Hi chaps hoping a quick fix just purchased a cd cartridge for cd player in glove box but system saying no cd loaded when obvisiously cartrigde is full and cd s in face up,any suggestions ascartrige obviously fits,its a 2004 vogue petrol if that helps and cd motor makes a noise when cartridge enters so appears to be pwer to unit ,cheers cant be the first to have this glitch so advise appreciated |

Probably damage dash if try and hit with a hammer as well concealed in dash,although sorely tempted,wil have a look in day light and let you guys know outcome.tried cds other way up and no joy,thanks for input other suggestions welcome |

As NMJ says, put the cds face down, i.e. the face that has no writing on it should be face down in the cartridge.

Does it cycle the discs if you select a different disc?

meaning -if you burnt your own cd in a pc etc, might not be read by cd player, however shop bought cd's should be tried first. |
