Rear space

Guys anyone.

I'm looking to collect a marine tank this weekend in the FFRR and need to know if the following will fit in the rear with the seats down.

I'm unable to measure as the wife has the car in work now and I need the info so I can let the seller know.

The tank size is: L37XW22XH24
The base is: L38XW22XH35

Both of the above are in inches.

I'm hoping the will fit side by side ie 22" tank width with base 22" so that's a total of 44" width and a length of 38" and height of 35".

Can someone let me know urgent please, even if its a guess. Range Rover quotes.....

I would have thought they'd fit - and wouldn't put them side by side, but would put them sideways so no stress on the middle of the tank.

I got a 42" wide tool cabinet in my L405 and it doesn't feel any wider than my L322 Thumbs Up

I would have thought length was more like 60"

So instead of putting them in side by side they would fit length wise arch to arch 38" max there about? Range Rover quotes.....

My L405 boot is about 44" wide

With the seats down, I would guess at 60" long

Not sure on the L322, but would expect 38" would be OK - hopefully someone can measure & confirm - but longer than it is wide with the seats flat Thumbs Up

The combined 44 width should fit. An 120cm wide plywood sheet just doesn't quite fit by a few of cm. height might be more of an issue possibly. It'll be close. put the Base in first. V8 or else ...

That's what I intend to do, base first then tank wrapped in bubble popping squeezing annoying wrap.

But its a 4.5hr drive up and back so a early start and hope to get back mid afternoon. Range Rover quotes.....

Well thanks guys,

Drove from Bargoed South Wales to Rhyl North Wales, collected the tank (Yes fitted a treat) and drove all the way back.

The car didn't miss a beat and mileage wise its great and shifts as well.
