FFRR trip. Salisbury Plain byways? - Sunday 10th April 2011

So, as mentioned on another thread...

Who would be up for a FFRR day of offroading on the byways of Salisbury Plain?

No silly stuff, winching out, better bring your Defender etc...
More a chance to go offroad and use the FFRR in unmodified standard form.

I organised a weekend in Wiltshire a few years ago. The staff at Wiltshires rights of way department were very helfpful (ROW department is located in Trowbridge).
Just make sure you have plenty of time....and all the relevent OS maps Smile

The riff-raff from LPR (myself and Jeremy) will be on the plain on 05/12, so if you manage to organise for the same day then perhpas we could meet somewhere at a mid-point (firing range?)? Perhaps Delamo could keep in touch with Jez? Wink

If anything, we will be close by if there is a need for recovery! Whistle

Yep, put LPR down for that one!

Won't be a the demo FFRR that we'll be bringing though Big Cry .... may be a TD6 or 5.0 SC or if you think a 'support truck' is required then happy to help.

Nice one James - what is it you are doing on 05/12/10? (private function or sales promotion?)

It would be great to see the LPR team - if we can organise it for the Spring time also?

Will no doubt be seeing Jez soon - need to organise a service on mine (will be in touch) Thumbs Up
