Does anyone know on the MAIN FUSE BOARD PASSENGER COMPARTMENT:

Their are BLANK Live fuses ( no's 4 /13 / 18 / 26 / 35 / 53 / 54 / 59 / 60 ) in the Owners Handbook
The vehicle is a 12 MY - 4.4 TDV8

I am after one of these that is LIVE when the vehicle is locked.

I have chosen Fuse 60 at present - but when the car is locked it shuts off the circuit. ( so this is no good )

What I am after is a LIVE Blank fuse - that can draw 0.02Amps - for a Passive Camera that's mounted in the front window

I have the female fuse adapter that fits into the Black fuse socket similar to below pic

or you can tap into the fusebox in the engine compartment [box on left side] and run a feed into the cab.. ... - .- -.

Hey Stan - TOP MAN as usual

Got it sorted this afternoon - took a supply from the "Battery Backup sounder Fuse No 36" - the fuse was 5 Amp - current draw added is only 0.2 amp

Fuse no: 36 is live all the time ( 5 Amp )

Note to anyone reading this

change all your fuses every couple of years - some as the above FUSE have a current running through them 24/7 and they can get tired/old with current running in them - a new fuse will have new a life span than a tired old one. FACT

Mine are all 14 years old, I've had it over two years and none have blown... I did pull them all one at a time just after I got it to check them, some had evidence of poor contact with the fitting and I guess a resistance had built up as some pitting was evident, I just cleaned them up and turned them over... been fine since....

My wallet has got very stiff since I moved up here and became a Yorkshireman...  Pete

Craig - Think about it ...... whilst car is at Airport - The camera has a motion detection on it and if anyone gets 4 feet in front or behind her then it records onto a HD.

LETS PUT IT ANOTHER WAY - you go to Tesco's and park you lovely FF their - you come back and Ms Marple has decided to reveres into it - enough said.
