Hi all. I need a spare key and wondering if there is a cheaper option than factory. See plenty of 433mhz keys on eBay but wonder if they can be programmed to my car. Any advice gratefully received 2015 4.4 AB

You can get a key off ebay but you will only be able to open the doors , to start the thing you have to go the steelers . 2008 MY Supercharged

Programmed it with an IDD tool.
Get the blade cut locally.


Don't buy a used one, as apparently programming is not straight forward for used ones.

Hi, just looking for some advice , I've confirmed with GAP that my IID tool can program a new key (flip style) mines a 2007 model

There is a key on Ebay not sure if I'm allowed to post link to it but its a 433mhz ID46 transponder chip with correct blank (full size)


Can anyone see any problems ? 2015 4.4 AB

You could RTM.

Probably something like this.

Choose key programming option.
Follow on screen instructions (Bluetooth model)
Insert working key and turn to I
Insert key to be programmed and turn to I
Turn key to II

Hi, I got an email from the guys at GAP, really helpful, and they said it will be in the new instruction book in about three weeks time.

Go for it and update the thread as to how you get on , I could do with a spare key and if the IID tool can do it I'll be following your lead once I get home (away at work now)

order the key today and GAP told me to email them once I have it and he will email me the full procedure The guy at GAP thought it was worth a shot too 2015 4.4 AB
