Well that looks much worse than mine, has it got a towbar, I bet someone in it's early life launched a boat in sea water and dipped the back of the FF in the water....

Yep, recognise the area, it's a very common leak area, either the rear side window seal or tailgate seal and water gets to there...

If it's through to the outside then cutting out and welding in new is the only proper way to repair it, at least you can access both sides easily... Then flood the inside, and all surrounding area in rust preventer of your choice...

Also, check the other side for the same.... Pete

Will search for leaks then, must be something that is going on for years then..
Cutting the bad spot out and welding new metal plate in place would be indeed the best thing.

Searched today for water ingress but it is not very clear where the water is coming from.

I removed the subwoofer and dvd systems. In mean time i sprayed with water on the rear quarter. There is water coming in but not clearly where from. The rear suarter plastic is held with 4 plastic clips on the rear and 4 on the side. If i am right, there were only 3 plastic clips on the side installed. Maybe this is were the water enters easily.

I will buy silicone /tec 7 and start to seal the rear quarter window and every hole and plastic clip i see..

I mean time i found out that also my sunscreen drains where blocked. MY2008 Buckingham Blue Supercharged - gone
