ZF 5HP24 hissing noise

Just, remembered that when I was reversing rangie to garage I noticed a hissing noise coming from transmission when reverse gear was engaged. Otherwise it seemed to work ok. Still don't know if there is more gears than 1 and R. Could not compare with 730d autobox as M57 is so loud. Is this noise normal? Surprised -08 3.6 Vogue

Mine makes the same noises both forward and reverse and it doesn't hiss at all, usually hissing is a leaking airbag or pipe... Thumbs Up Pete

I guess it is not normal then. Very Happy Sound is like overpressure valve letting fluid out. I'll try to take some video when RR is back on four wheels. And from PRND it only happened on R. C-clutch leaking perhaps... Maybe it will show up when I can take it to first test drive. Very Happy -08 3.6 Vogue
