I don't actually know, but the side panel just pops off, which is much much less work. I'd be seeing if I can access anything from there first....

This happened to me, you'll find that either the cable has popped out at the latch end or the latch has self destructed as had happened to me.

If (when) you get it open and are trying to replace the spring you will probably find it is a nightmare of a fiddle to get it and the spring back into place.

Thanks for these, I have had the end cap off recently when wiring in a dash cam. I do have large hands, is it a bit of a sqeeze to get at the catch? I seem to be getting a lot of these niggly problems - luckily most of them are fixable but I seem to solve one thing and two more crop up.... QUID FACIUM TIBI
