Part numbers for front discs and pads for 5.0 sc

Well my recent attempts at DIY have ended up as a disaster BUT I have changed fronts discs and pads or other (lesser) vehicles in the past with no trouble.

But I can't seem to
a. Find the part numbers
b. Then find the best price
c. A how to - just to see if it differs much from what I have done previously.

So any recommendations/suggestions for either or both product and supplier ? Geoff

from personnel experience i would plump for OE parts and ducky dan is the best bet for those...ok you might find after market cheaper on ebay for instance and they might be ok with no droning or squeals but its a risk.. ... - .- -.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

If it's the same as a 4.2SC, then it's easy.

Lessons learnt from my own experience a few months ago:

1. Buy a 16mm hexagonal impact socket for the brake caliper removal. One of my caliper bolts wasn't going to budge, and only the hexagonal socket and plenty of Plus Gas got it loosened without destroying the bolt head.

2. I bought genuine Brembo parts. Brembo do make discs and pads for Land Rover and you can find the part numbers from Brembo's website. I ordered mine from Advanced Factors, along with some ceramic grease for the rear of the pads. Or buy from Dan. Both options will give you peace of mind.

3. Don't worry about the rear Electronic Parking Brake applying itself after disc removal. I chocked my wheels, left the 'box in N and the key in the ignition. No need to touch the adjuster wheel at all.

4. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on RR SC brake servicing, as well as excellent Wiki threads on here with excellent tips and procedures. Watch. Read. Digest. Then do the job. Si. <This is my name.
