Hi all, anyone have any experience of fitting a phone kit? i was wondering how difficult it would be to buy the genuine module and just plug it in....sounds way too easy doesnt it .....im guessing that the car would be wired for it? i get the "phone not fitted" response when i tried it.

If thats a no go which is the best aftermarket kit? i was thinking of a Parrot and have been quoted £300 as it needs 2 extra leads....

Any input would be greatfully received as always

Are you sure it doesn't already have one fitted?

Try switching on the bluetooth on your phone and see if it picks anything up.

well.....im only going by the car telling me that there is not a phone fitted on the display when i push the button....but ive not had the bluetooth turned on so its worth a try....

It will say phone not fitted until you connect via the Bluetooth!! You need the pairing code which might be 2121 but it's in the user manual!

erm... .......thanks Hamlet, cant beleive you didnt check before going through all that......it would appear that my car does actually have the bluetooth phone .......
i can now stop watching all the units on flea bay and stop reading all the info and searching youtube it appears...

just had to turn it on......
