Had the same issue a few weeks back. Suspect the battery is shot. The breakdown guy attached the booster pack for about 15/20 minutes before trying to start the engine and it fired up first time.

The battery should fit well & be completely free of movement.

Careful with a jump. If your battery is totally dead, you'll put a lot of strain on the alternator once it starts up. If the situation allows, charge up the battery first, or replace. Good luck. |
