Hi, been to look at a 2010 4.4 tdv8 range rover over the weekend. Tried the heated steering wheel out but didnt seem to do anything when I pushed the button. Is there any indication that it has been turned on such as and led lighting up? Just want to make sure its not a fault.

Mine has a red LED light up when on. It is a 2006 MY so things could have changed but hopefully that is some help. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

Agree on the dim light post 2010 - can't see in bright daylight. It heats up within a minute or two. 2012 5.0L S/C

Good to know. Will need to cup my hands round the button to see if it works if I go back for a second viewing. It was a hot sunny day when I looked at it so probably couldn't see the light by the sounds of it. I'm used to the bright red led coming on in my BMW X5, and same for the 54 plate FFRR I had previously.

It is a fairly dim light, I think mine changes between pale orange and pale red

Been back for another look and it works, very dim light though. Should be picking it up on Saturday. Had a look on TOPIx for the options and the mind boggles with some of them, I guess a new post with them may be in order.
