Hi
Ive bought an 06 TD6 with a gearbox issue from a local guy. Apparently he pulled up outside the house, went into reverse and no gears at all back or forward and had no issues at all before hand.
Ive had broken boxes before that drive but slip, but this doesn't do anything at all. In D or R just revs, no sort of drop in revs like you would expect. P works, N works as in it shift to N and can push it. High and low range works
Fault codes are in the attached picture
Im fully expecting a recon box but is there anything else to try
Can anyone recommend a gearbox specialist that doesn't charge the earth? Local guy is £2200 plus vat but seen others from £1200
