Don't forget, it is advisable to change both top hoses at this point sir...

If you can't/won't wait to get new hoses, then duct-tape can be used to seal up the leak temporarily. |

Silicone rescue tape would be better, but I've read about duck tape working. ______________________________

The Harris pipe repair tape works perfectly in 3 layers, 1st a layer of reinforcing tape, then some self amalgamating tape and another layer of reinforcing tape.

Halfords don't do the Harris tape any more according to the chap in there (and their website) so I used the silicone fixxit tape.
