popping sound thru speakers when compressor kicks in

as above , noticed this a few times when the radio is on , I get a pop thru the speakers as the suspension comp kicks in , also does it when I first start the car , any ideas why ??

Popping in an amplifier setup is most commonly down to the first amplifier stage picking up erroneous RF signals ... which the motor /it's relay is probably giving off when it kicks in. V8 or else ...

To be honest, it really shouldn't be doing it in the first place. The amplifier / inputs should be shielded enough to prevent RF noise affecting it.

Is it just a single pop , or is it doing it the whole time the compressor runs? V8 or else ...
