If it's torque converter then I would say it's recon box time as when it lets go it fills the GM transmission with debris and if its transmission internals then same outcome I would say.

If there is a horrible grinding sound it could be the front prop shaft shredded the splines. Mine did it last week, relativley cheap to fix. |
