I rather think it was just a glitch as I've been lucky to have experienced to the astoundingly good customer service from Gap, so I think you're just over complicating things somewhat.

Once you have it activated, you'll soon appreciate just how good a product it is. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Unless you're spending thousands on dealer level diagnostic kit you'd be hard pressed to find anything more capable than the IID tool for your FFRR. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey
