I assume this has just appeared. No prior troubles. Try the battery reset procedure in wiki.
These cars are virtually computers.
Hope it's something simple.
Good luck

Unnecessary quote removed

I had this a couple of weeks ago, no lights but ours would turn over, however it wouldn't start. It was the ignition switch at the back of the ignition lock. Some people have had ignition lights on but the car will not crank. Perhaps you have been really unlucky and got both faults at the same time. It would be worth testing the switch first as it's quite expensive.

Good news! Although the switch is a rip off at £100.

Are you having a 4 wheel alignment after doing the camber adjusting bushes?

What's it doing? Just the LR screen and a flashing orange button? Alex

My dad's TD6 was also not starting, everything was fine before, it was the ignition switch. you can use the one
from the x5, and suprise suprise, the old switch was BMW marked. you also can use the febi bilstein
oem product for ~50 euros!
