Looks like I'll add it to my to-do list, I've got loads to do tomorrow might get round to it in a few weeks when I have a free weekend! Not had any water ingress in my at all but better safe then sorry as my car sometimes doesnt get used much I wouldn't notice if it did suddenly happen! |

I was thinking the same thing. Roll of 'water shedders':
RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |

Well , unless the one I have has some clever anti-shrink and set the car on fire properties it may as well be a bin bag Yet to fit it. Thankfully I only have the Nav & nav bracket to remove on my 2003. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Wouldn't a 5litre Ice cream container or a large Tupperware box cut to fit be cheaper than the LR bin liner? 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Fitted mine today. Three bolts out on my '03 Sat nav bracket off.. Then installed the bin ba... er water shedder... fed one antenna cable through with a small hole.. then three bolt holes. The product does make perfect sense when installed and will protect all the electronic gubbins. It also clearly made of a material designed to withstand the heat the various devices create.

What I don't understand is why LR wouldn't just fix the problem? Not all RR's leak, so there must be an issue with the ones that do?

Has anyone got any idea how to fit the water shedder EOT500030 as it doesn't come with instructions and the one sheet I've managed to print off bears no relation to the 'armchair' cover I have. I've already replaced an amp and a radio because of water damage so I'm keen to fit this correctly and avoid another expensive replacement. And if anyone has worked out where the water comes in and knows how to stop it on a 2002 vogue l322 that would be terrific. All help gratefully received. Cheers richar |

Is this not a design fault? If so should'nt these shredders be supplied for free? Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
