Listen to the throttle body. They strip their nylon gear and then click. Answer is to replace. A real DIY job. Part is not overly expensive. RR L322 TDV8 4.4 SE 2019 to present

when was the last time you changed transfer box oil? i get similar noise from TB that goes away when oil in the transfer case is changed. 2012 TDV8 Black Edition

Thanks nino, if I recall they were done by the last owner at approx 80k, the car has done 99k now. It’s an easy and cheap fix.
