2006 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Zermatt Silver

sun roof does not open sometimes

Really can't work this one out. The sun roof works fine until I don't use the car for two days then it won't open. If I switch the engine off, remove the key from the ignition then restart it works fine! Sometimes the heated steering wheel joins in the fun too!

Any Ideas?

Oh, the car is a 2006 4.4 petrol unbadged Autobiography.

2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

The motors can seize up. Mine just stopped working one day.

I bought a replacement motor on ebay and fitted it in 20 minutes now it works perfectly. It is all easy to access when you remove the sunroof/sunglasses holder ceiling panel. Tom
