Just had mine changed last week was charged £60 for the whole job seal/oils etc as it was weeping a little |

Madcima have you changed the seal? How hard is the job? Noticed that mine needs replacing too.. assume it's a drive shaft off job.

For a user who has never done it, it takes 2 hours, I did not do a tutorial, too concentrated in the replacement, I can say that:

and what is very important, when the transmission shaft is inserted, it must be placed in support, and pushed inside until it feels resistance, then with a hammer it beats on the collar of the differential (edge) because the seager must fit inside (the edge of the differential must be equal to the gearbox |

Assume you would need to get the alignment done? Or did you leave the strut bolts in situ?

yes, I have removed the differential side shaft, there is no need to do any training, because only the rack nut is unscrewed, not the whole arm.

Thanks Madcima.. from the image above I would have imagined tracking would be required as the two bolts to the strut would control the camber.
