Iโ€™m not sure how to do a link thingy so I took a screenshot of it ๐Ÿคฃ
Donโ€™t know if you can tell anything from that thoโ€™ ๐Ÿคž[/quote]

The interface which you have bought is designed to talk through the OBD port to various control units through K-Bus or CAN Bus. Hence it should work with INPA.

However, the means of connection of the various infotainment computers is I-Bus.

Unfortunately the I-Bus is not available at the car's OBD socket, so instead you will have to connect to the I-Bus by spicing into it in a less convenient place such as the left rear wing where the nav kit and much of the audio is located, or behind the dashboard.

The simplest way of connecting a PC to I-Bus is using the Resler interface as offered for sale by another poster (above).

Even if you fit an Android head unit you will still need a Resler interface, because unless I've missed something the I-Bus App is unable to access the Android Head Unit's built-in I-Bus interface, so instead utilises a USB to I-Bus interface as its way of connecting to the car.

You want what Joe is selling. I remember now having to cut the cables to somewhere in the left hand boot compartment and join the wires in to connect the Resler unit. That was on a X5 though. 2011 RR Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Has anyone managed to contact the Navcoder author in recent times? I've tried a few times over the past couple of years but had no reply. Ron B. VK2OTC
