Ambient Lighting Not Working In Door Pocket

Hi guys, I noticed the other day that the ambient lighting in my nearside rear door pocket is not working. The door itself is still getting power as the actuator still works, the puddle light and door lock/unlock are still illuminated.

Anyone else had this problem?

I'll hopefully take a look over the next week or so and report back, but if anyone has any ideas, your advice would be greatly appreciated. Kev

Dodgy Ambient Lighting

Hi, the ambient light around the front center console has stopped working in my '17RR. The front overhead/dome lights (left and right) don't work either. All the other interior lights work fine and the center light of the overhead console lights up when the door is open or at ignition shut off. Anyone else ever had this issue? Any advice would be welcome. Big Cry Question

So, 6 months later, I've eventually got around to taking a look at this.

Door card removed...

The ambient light within the door card is generated by a single LED housed within a small black plastic connector. This LED shines light down an acrylic light pipe mounted within the door card that then diffuses the light within the door pocket.

On mine, the connector that houses the LED had become dislodged and was therefore not shining down the light pipe...

Fitted back in its place and it's now working as it should...

Hope this helps someone in the future should they have this issue. Kev

My Ambient Lighting, All door puddle lights and interior overhead welcome lights have all stopped working and maybe the AB tread plates as well..

I can operate all interior overhead lights manually but they don't work when you unlock car/turn engine off etc etc.

i have installed logo projection light about 2mths ago (not sure if they have anything to do with it)?

But on Saturday i remember leaving all doors open while i was cleaning the leather, so not sure if too much current have been draw by all lights and maybe fuse has popped?

Can someone tell me which fuse box & Fuse number(s) should i check for above issues? My car is MY18.

If it had been the front I'd have attended to it but out of sight, out of mind!

Hi Sorry forgot to update you. For some reason my Ambient lighting, interior & puddle lights all turned off went into ghost mode of some sort.

But interior lights and puddle lights were switched on by holding the middle interior light in overhead console for 2-3secs until you see a message on driver instrument panel.

And then ambient light was switched on from the ambient lights colour selection menu.
