Cam Tech Craig's L405

A quick share with other 405 owners... Yesterday i fitted a ford mondeo sunglasses holder to my new car... I removed the grab handle, drilled out the mounting holes slightly as the RR grab handle takes an M6 (i think?) bolt whereas the mondeo has two self tappers... I also needed to snap off two tiny locating lugs on the underside of the glasses case to make the mating surfaces flat... Thumbs Up

The mirror mounted ones didn't make it to the L405

The earlier L405's have a flip down holder under the door arm rest which worked fine, but think they stopped that on the later models - no idea why Rolling Eyes

With my current stateof health I would have a problem getting intothe passenger seat without them. Driver's side is ok as the wheel isthere to pull on. Wink John

Extremely brave to attack your new car with a drill !!!!!!

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

No no Bill, i needed to drill the holes on the sunglasses holder to allow the bolts to fit rather than the small self tappers they use on a Ford Thumbs Up
