If you’ve not had a chance yet ,and like your transport programmes, Secrets Of The Transport Museum on Yesterday gives a great insight to Brooklands. I was lucky enough to be allowed to run the HandH on the longest part of the track as part of a feature, it’s some place to visit.

Just out of curiosity, anyone know how many of these Holland and Holland's were made?
Big boothie, any chance of you posting some pics up of yours?

Thanks for posting the link much appreciated, Mike the creator of ‘How Many Made’ posted my photo on the back of emails I sent him when I read he was trying to gather some detail. I’ve been trying to track down as many of the MY 2010 vehicles as I can so I can pass on to him so the page can be updated if he wishes. They are tough to find, 007 was up for sale last year and I found the advert for 001 recently plus there was a black Tdv8 for sale in 2016.

Sadly 001, the top gear featured vehicle, had been cannibalised its tiger wheels and rear cabinet had been removed, 007 didn’t have the rear console specified and according to our fellow member was repainted white from the original Berberis aubergine. So I am one short of finding the estimated 4 in the U.K, mine being a one off pre facelift model which was also the press car used for the Sunday Times review in October 2010 as no 2010 models were available.

They used my photo on their website and the test drive then used the 001 vehicle for the printed article photo shopping the reviewer on the bonnet, very smoke and mirrors. Bob Dover ex Overfinch CEO and also CEO of Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover prior to that sent me a mail on this . The number plate was changed shortly after to V8 OBV ( Overfinch Bespoke Vehicles) but retained by them. Bob also sent me the background on how he got my vehicle commissioned, it’s quite different from the later model. Thank for your interest.

I find these very interesting, especially as my SC has been badged "pseudo" Overfinch by one of the previous owners!!
I didn't know much about them, so I looked it up.
I must admit that yours is unique, being pre-production, and the others look like they're as rare as hen's teeth!! 2005 FFRR SC Java Black with Overfinch Exhaust (UK)

it should be Bordeaux, but the first owner decided to paint it... i suppose this is your want when you are spending this much on a bespoke car..... nice that its a five seat configuration with the drinks cabinet in the boot. driver really well, all working and only done 53000 miles. just decide whether ive had a good enough year and will bite the bullet and restore original colour.

Thank you so much for posting the photos, sorry I missed your earlier response. It’s great that 007 is with an enthusiast, I remember it being for sale last year and hoped that would be the case. I have checked the 2010 sales brochure and can confirm the colours offered were flint white, gulf blue metallic, santorini black metallic, Holland and Holland green metallic and berberis aubergine. It is the last colour that has a burgundy / claret look and was used on the 2008 country pursuit concept, a very striking colour. If you head to the ‘How many made ‘ website under The HandH Overfinch section there’s an image there of that colour for reference.

If you don’t have an electronic version of the brochure PM me and I can sort that out for you, it would be great to compare notes, great to have you on board. I’m looking to update Mike from How Many Made as to the vehicles I have tracked down it would be good to include yours.

All the best for now, John Holland and Holland Range Rover By Overfinch

Hi Simon have sent a PM with contact details. The original HandH badges on mine had to be removed to avoid any further deterioration but retained. The best option my son Dan and I found was to get a Land Rover HandH badge from their latest L405 model. The reflection in the photo is in the paddocks at Goodwood race track. If of interest I will dig out the part number for you.

I bring good news for our Fulfatrr community the HandH has been selected to be exhibited at the exclusive GRRC (Goodwood Road Racing Club) members only Breakfast Club at the Goodwood circuit on Sunday. The selection process took 2 weeks with stiff competition for places so my son and I were delighted that we were accepted. We don’t normally get the Rangey out this early in the year so all systems go tomorrow for some detailing after today’s rubbish weather. I did manage however to work on my upgraded information display, looking quite professional now having bought a dealership showroom stand on eBay. Photos of the event will follow I suspect there will be an amazing diversity in vehicles.
